Biography

Gerrit H. van Bruggen is professor of marketing at RSM Erasmus University and ISBM Distinguished Visiting Scholar. Most of his research addresses the impact of information technology on marketing decision making. In recent research projects, he has studied the adoption and effectiveness of marketing decision models and the effectiveness of virtual stock markets for institutional forecasting. He coauthored Marketing Management Support Systems: Principles, Tools and Implementation and has published articles in Marketing Science, Management Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, MIS Quarterly, and Information Systems Research.
