Biography

Abbie Griffin holds the Royal L. Garff Endowed Chair in Marketing in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. Dr. Griffin earned her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University, an M.B.A. degree from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in management of technology and marketing from MIT. Her previous experience also includes work as a plant engineer for Polaroid Corporation and technology consultation with Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Her current teaching responsibilities include business-to-business marketing and fi rst-year core MBA marketing. She also is a member of the Board of Directors of Navistar International. In 1998–2003, Dr. Griffin served as the editor of Journal of Product Innovation Management.
