To increase the number and quality of scholars studying business-to-business markets and marketing by informing PhD students about the area early in their studies and continuing to serve their domain needs along all stages of the dissertation process.
PhD students at any stage of matriculation who are interested in research in business-to-business markets. While Marketing PhD students are the primary target, students in related areas such as Strategy, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and Management also are welcomed.
To develop a better understanding of the barriers and rewards involved in pursuing a PhD in business-to-business markets. To provide students with connections to potential mentors, committee members, peers, and future coauthors.
Venue and Timing
Tuesday (July 29) and Wednesday (July 30), prior to the ISBM Academic Conference, and the AMA Summer Marketing Educators' Conference, at the San Francisco State University, downtown center, San Francisco. Click here for more travel and hotel information.
28 July 2014 - Arrive in San Francisco (at the latest)
28 July 2014 - Pre-Camp Workshop on Theory Construction (additional fee)
29 July 2014 - Camp begins with Lunch Buffet at Noon (12:00PM)
30 July 2014 - Camp continues and end with Lunch Buffet
30-31 July 2014 - ISBM Academic Conference (additional fee)
1 August 2014 - Post-Camp Workshop on Communication (additional fee)
