Purpose
To increase the number and quality of scholars studying business-to-business markets and marketing by informing Ph.D. students about the area early in their studies and continuing to serve their domain needs along all stages of the dissertation process.
Target Audience
Ph.D. students at any stage of matriculation who are interested in research in business-to-business markets. While Marketing Ph.D. students are the primary target, students in related areas such as Strategy, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and Management also are welcomed.
Student Benefit
To develop a better understanding of the barriers and rewards involved in pursuing a Ph.D. in business-to-business markets. To provide students with connections to potential mentors, committee members, peers, and future coauthors.
Venue and Timing
Tuesday evening (August 14) and Wednesday (August 15), prior to the ISBM Academic Conference, and the AMA Summer Marketing Educators' Conference, at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center, downtown Chicago.

Registration Fees
$100.00 USD - Camp Only - August 14-15, 2012
$250.00 USD - Camp and Academic Conference - August 15-16, 2012
$50.00 USD - *Pre-Camp Workshop on Theory Construction - August 14th
$25.00 USD - *Post-Camp Seminar: How to Write a World-Class Paper - August 16th
* Must register and be accepted to the PhD Camp to attend this event.
Dates
1 April 2012 - Essays, resume, and support letters due
15 April 2012 - Selection results and Registration page opens
1 May 2012- Make hotel reservations
1 June 2012 - Schedule sent to selected students
1 June 2012 - Registrations Due (includes payment, bio, jpeg picture, and research proposal)
14 August 2012 - Arrive in Chicago (at the latest)
14 August 2012 - Pre-Camp Workshop on Theory Construction (additional fee)
14 August 2012 - Evening Welcome Reception
15 August 2012- Camp
16 August 2012 - Post-Camp Workshop on How to Write a World-Class Paper (additional fee)
16 August 2012 - ISBM Academic Conference (additional fee)
Cancellation Policy
- On or before July 2, 2012 - no fee
- After July 16, 2012 - no refunds will be given
