2009 ISBM Marketing Educator's Consortium, August 20, 2009
Our ISBM Educators Consortium has been meeting twice each year for quite a few years – in fact the upcoming meeting will be our 22nd meeting together. This is our special “community of learning and practice” for all of those inside our member firms who have the charter to advance the practice, build competency, and create a more efficient and effective marketing process for their firms.

The "Greenbelt for Growth" Marketing Boot Camp at Kennametal, presented by Joshua Scott
Working together with ISBM senior faculty Dr. Stuart Bither and Mr. Jeff Bennett, and in conjunction with the team at Kennametal, a process to select, develop, and crystallize growth projects, bring them into a weeklong intensive boot camp, and exit with a complete “go to market strategy” has been implemented at Kennametal. Joshua Scott will review the case in detail – the design, execution, and results of that program.
New offering in a new/innovative format
Marketing for Profitable Growth – “Web/Live”-Action-Learning Series, Dr. Roger Best, University of Oregon
A challenge for all of us is delivering high impact, actionable, professional development and business marketing that produces results and can be "installed" right away -- in the face of diminishing budgets, and the rising cost and pain of travel.
Rising to this challenge is our good friend and renown marketing educator Dr. Roger Best. His new course on "Marketing for Profitable Growth" is in a new "Web/Live" format, which combines the convenience and affordability of Web-based learning, the real applicability of a team-based approach, and the customized attention of live face-to-face instruction. How does he do all this? Come and see!
Plenty of time for networking, hearing of your needs, gathering ideas, and learning with your peers.
